Hobbies
Sonia loves to play and create digital music. She is working on a CD that she will offer for sale. She loves to take digital photo's of the outdoors and loves nature and hiking. Enjoys day drives in the mountains and boating and swimming. She loves movies and working on all types of web related projects.
Volunteer Work
She was the team leader for the Denver United Way during the Katrina catastrophe; serving people by helping them find the resources and assistance they needed to get back on their feet in the Denver area.
She served with her husband as Co-President(s) for a citywide coalition, Bridge the Gap in Kansas City, MO, networking organizations together. Served administratively by setting up a board of Directors, a bookkeeping & accounting system. Developed many special interest departments and selected leadership teams for each area. Organized two annual conferences, communicating with all the citywide members and departments what their participation requirements were to be in each event. Their success was evident when they were offered a second term of service and was going to change the bylaws to allow it. They declined due to moving to Denver, Colorado.
Music Director/Administration, Citywide Prayer Gathering & Virtuous Women Int'l. Networking organizations together. Citywide Interfaith music director for monthly women's group. Developed a music team from various citywide churches. Music director for monthly for urban and rural women's group.
Entrepreneur
Sonia owns a company called Nsite 2 Success, Inc. providing tools, resources and solutions to small businesses. This includes: websites, merchant accounts, products, and services. She also sells on Ebay, Amazon, Craigs List and more. This is something she does apart from, but does not interfere with, her corporate career and does not diminish her dedication to her corporate career.
